Day 2 Catch up

After the longest 35 hours of travelling no sleep, orientation and dragging suitcases on cobblestones and up 5 flights of stairs, day 2 was an awesome way to actually see Versailles.  We went to the Market to grab food for a picnic in the gardens. The market in Versailles is just amazing and huge and there is more food than you can possibly imagine. And do you want to know whats even better? Its open 5 days a week. That much wonderfulness at my disposal is just dangerous. Afterwards we did a walking tour of Versailles led by our Director Alex. Even though I have already seen the Chateau before, the sprawl of the gardens never ceases to amaze me.

All of these orange trees are stored in the massive green houses under the Chateau in winter. Thousands of trees moved in the fall just shows the opulence of Versailles.

No, that chicken was not just for us.
