Day One.

So here is the house that I am going to flip! It is the perfect starter house since it has gone through half of the process for a remodel by the previous owner.  Apparently he was trying to do the same stuff I am, but then ran out of money (really sad). But this means that I get to put my hands on it and make it shine like new!  It is a 3 bed 1 bath house with 1650 square feet and is a half mile from Lake Michigan. I want to make it a 3 bed 2.5 bath with a very large garage (its beautiful). It was built in 1914, but the guy before me gutted almost every aspect of the charm that you would find in this type of house; I really want to restore it while also making it a functional modern home. Here are some pics, Hope you like it!

This is the exterior! The posts are too small for the house, and the green is a little garish. I want to use a nice crisp white and install large white columns that are similar to what was originally on the house.

Can't wait to get my hands on this grubby babe.

Great windows for this living room, but who spends so much time on that paint job?

This is the view from the living room looking into the kitchen and dining room. Its a good floor plan already just needs to be tweaked to make it great.

Back wall of the kitchen. So pink!

View of the kitchen from the dining room. Even more pink.

Decent size with a cool nook (First Bed)

Bed 2 has really strange angles, but there is no real way to fix it.

The Master bed (or what is going to be) is pretty small and has no closet, but 2 full walls of windows. I want to expand the room by two feet and vault the ceiling to give it height.

This is currently the only bath for the house. After completely gutting it it will turn into the master bath.
